Use Apple Pay with your debit card and credit card service for Raiffeisen Mastercard type cards!

Why you should consider Apple Pay?

                                      
  • You can pay quickly and securely without having to use your card using contactless payments in stores with your Mastercard debit card or Mastercard credit card.
  • You can easily pay with your bankcards on the internet using your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac devices.
  • You can even withdraw HUF from Raiffeisen ATMs inland.
  • Security: all transactions have to be authorised using Touch ID, Face ID or passcode in case your device is compatible. No physical card data is stored on the mobile device or by Apple during payments, and such data are not shared with merchants as well.

 

What type of cards may be enrolled?

All Retail, Premium and Private Banking Mastercard debit cards and Mastercard credit cards provided within debit and credit card service may be used with Apple Pay.

  • In Stores: At every merchant and store where contactless payments are available and/or Apple Pay mark is visible.
  • Online: On websites where Apple Pay mark is visible.

 

Payments and cash withdrawals made with Apple Pay are considered the same as any transaction made with plastic cards. Digitized cards may at any time be suspended or deleted through Raiffeisen Direkt call center at +36-80-488-588.

 

Which devices can be used for Apple Pay?

  • iPhones equipped with Touch ID or Face ID functions, except iPhone 5S
  • iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad and iPad mini models equipped with Touch ID or Face ID functions
  • Apple Watch Series 1 and 2, or later models
  • Macbook models equipped with Touch ID function

Add your Mastercard debit card or Mastercard credit card to Apple Pay today!

IPhone:

In case of card digitalization initiated in Apple Wallet application

                  

1. Open the Wallet application and tap on the "+" mark.
2. Take a photo of your card with your mobile phone, or type in your card data. You will be able to review and correct the provided data later on, in case they may be incorrect.
3. Provide your CVV/CVC/CV2 (security) code found on the back of your card.
4. Accept the Apple Pay Terms and Conditions.
5. In case your card is not added automatically to the Wallet, you may verify card registration with the methods below:

  • on the next screen, you can type in the SMS code sent to the number registered at our Bank, or
  • you can call Raiffeisen Direkt call center at +36-80- 488-588 in order to finish card registration.

 
 
In case of card digitalization intiated in myRaiffeisen application
1. Open the myRaiffeisen application and log in
2. Initiate the card digitalization
3. Accept the Apple Pay Terms and Conditions
4. In case your card is not added automatically to the Wallet, you can call Raiffeisen Direkt call center at +36-80-488-588 in order to finish card registration
 
Apple Watch:

1. Open the Apple Watch application on your iPhone.
2. Tap on "Wallet & Apple Pay" section, and choose "Add" option next to the card you want to add.
3. Assign your debit-, or credit card to your iTunes account by providing the card’s security code (CVV/CVC/CV2). In case you’d like to add a different card, choose the "Add another card" option, and read the card data with your iPhone’s camera.

iPad:
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap on "Wallet & Apple Pay" menu, then choose "Add" option next to the card you want to add.
3. Assign your debit-, or credit card to your iTunes account by providing the card’s security code (CVV/CVC/CV2). In case you’d like to add a different card, choose the "Add another card" option, and read the card data with your iPad’s camera.

Mac:
1. Open System Settings.
2. Tap on "Wallet & Apple Pay" menu, then choose "Add” option next to the card you want to add.
3. Assign your debit-, or credit card to your iTunes account by providing the card’s security code (CVV/CVC/CV2). In case you’d like to add a different card, choose the "Add another card" option, and read the card data with your Mac’s camera.

We will send a notification on a successful card registration to the mobile phone number registered at our Bank.

How to pay with iPhone or Apple Watch devices?

On iPhone devices…

  • For authorisation with Touch ID, keep your finger on the central button;
  • For authorisation with Face ID, press the side button twice, then look into the camera (passcode may be provided as well in case face recognition is unsuccessful) then place your device a few inches away to the contactless reader until the screen displays a "Success" label with a tick mark.

On Apple Watch devices press the side button twice, then place the screen of the watch close to the terminal. The watch will indicate a successful payment with a slight vibration.

If you digitized more than one card on your Apple device, select the card you want to use before authorising the transaction.
