CURRENCY EXCHANGE

• When you want to pay in a foreign currency while travelling abroad or shopping
• When you want to save in a foreign currency
• When you want to exchange your foreign currency income into forints, or vice versa
• When you regularly make transfers in a foreign currency
• For businesses with export-import activities

You can use the currency exchange at an individually agreed instant rate service in the myRaiffeisen app or in Internet Banking.

You can exchange between the currencies in which you have a Raiffeisen bank account and where the currency exchange service is available:

• Retail and Premium Banking customers: HUF, EUR, GBP, CHF, USD
• Private Banking customers and businesses: HUF, EUR, GBP, CHF, USD, CAD, JPY, AUD, NOK, SEK, TRY, PLN, CZK, RON, DKK

You can open a foreign currency account:

• as a Retail, Premium Banking or Private Banking customer in the myRaiffeisen app
• as a business customer, with the help of our expert colleagues at a branch.
   

You can exchange currency between your current accounts held in different currencies anytime, 24/7, in the myRaiffeisen app.
In Internet Banking, and for exchanges involving a securities account, the service is available on banking business days between 8:00 and 18:00.

You can exchange currency instantly at an individually agreed rate, from HUF 1,000 to HUF 40,000,000 per transaction.

1. Tap Currency exchange at individual rate on the Actions screen and accept the legal declaration.
2. Select the account you want to exchange from (Debited account), then select the account you want to transfer the money to (Beneficiary).
3. Enter the amount you want to exchange. If you want to enter the amount in the beneficiary account’s currency, tap Change currency. To continue, tap Request offer.
4. On the Review screen, you can see the individually agreed exchange rate calculated by the bank. You have 60 seconds to accept the offer. To approve the exchange, tap Exchange.
5. The currency exchange is completed instantly, and you can use the exchanged amount right away.
6. A főbb appos kifejezésekhez a szószedet szerinti terminológiát használtam: Currency exchange, Debited account, Beneficiary és Review.
    

For business customers, trustees with joint signing rights cannot exchange currency this way. The service is only available to trustees who are authorised to act independently.
