Activation and login to the myRaiffeisen mobile app
The mobile application is available in the App Store (iOS), Google Play and Huawei AppGallery (Android) under the name “my Raiffeisen” (Raiffeisen Bank International AG).
The application can only be downloaded in the countries listed in the myRaiffeisen announcement.
If you scan the QR code on the page opened via this link with your mobile phone, you will be redirected to the page where you can download and install myRaiffeisen.
Even if you are not yet our customer, you can download the application. After installation, you can:
- open a retail or business bank account within a few minutes using your identification documents and a selfie, and
- apply for a credit card.
Raiffeisen account holder customers and their authorized representatives can also access the banking features required for everyday banking.
An application with limited functionality is available to:
- supplementary cardholders,
- customers who only have a credit card or a loan, and
- customers with joint (dual) signature rights.
Customers with a data-entry (recording) role can use the internet banking service only (the mobile application is not available to them).
The application must be activated (registered) before first use. (This can also be done on multiple mobile devices.)
If you are not yet our customer, on the home screen you can first select whether you would like to:
- open a bank account, or
- apply for another service (e.g. a loan).
At the end of a successful application process, you will receive information on how to activate the app.
As a Raiffeisen customer, if you have a Direkt ID / Digital Channel ID, please follow the steps below:
- On the home screen, select the Login button.
- Choose the language (Hungarian or English) in which you would like to use the application (this can be changed later within the app).
- Enter your ID and password:
- If you have active internet banking access:Enter your 8-digit Direkt ID / Digital Channel ID and the corresponding password. If you have forgotten your password, request a one-time activation PIN code by calling +36-80-488-588.If you already use the app on another device, you can check your ID there. To do so, tap the profile icon, go to My User Account, then select Settings / Change DirektNet Password.
- If you do not yet have activated internet banking access and password: Enter the one-time 4-digit Digital Channel activation code received via SMS (sent to the phone number registered with the bank). Then set a password (valid for 365 days), which you should make sure to remember.
- Enter a 5-digit PIN code of your choice (Mobile Token PIN). Re-enter the code and tap Confirm button to proceed. It is important that you remember this PIN code.
- Then enter the one-time code received via SMS and tap Authorize button to proceed to accepting the Terms and Conditions.
After successful activation, you can start using the application.
The built-in Mobile Token in the myRaiffeisen mobile application is a software-based authentication and signing tool for using digital banking functions. It allows identification via a PIN code (Mobile Token PIN) or biometric authentication (fingerprint or facial recognition).
For financial security, it is important to know on which devices you have already activated the myRaiffeisen app.
You can check this within the app by going to the Profile icon → User Account / Settings / Mobile Token Settings. Here you can see devices with active or suspended status.
You can suspend, reactivate, or delete these devices at any time (except for the device currently in use).
If a device is no longer in your possession (sold, lost, stolen, etc.), please delete the associated Mobile Token via:
- another myRaiffeisen application,
- the DirektNet Internet Banking under Manage / Mobile Token Settings, or
- our telephone customer service at +36-80-488-588.
For security reasons, myRaiffeisen cannot be used on jailbroken (iOS) or rooted (Android) devices. Such devices are at higher risk from malicious software, such as data-stealing viruses.
We recommend installing the application on another device that has not been modified or restoring the device to its factory settings.
In some cases, device manufacturers may modify the operating system. If this applies, please contact the authorized service center.
You can log in using the 5-digit Mobile Token PIN you set during activation (or during the last PIN code change).
Biometric authentication (fingerprint or facial recognition) is initially disabled at activation. If your device supports Face ID / facial recognition or Touch ID / fingerprint recognition, you will be notified about this option after activation. To enable biometric login, you must first enter your PIN. Once enabled, you can use biometrics to log in and approve transactions/orders.
You can enable or disable biometric authentication at any time via Profile icon → User Account / Settings.
myRaiffeisen mobile app security
myRaiffeisen mobile app security
The myRaiffeisen mobile app includes a secure authentication method called Mobile Token, which complies with banking and customer security standards.
It enables secure identification for logging in and approving transactions using
- the 5-digit PIN code set during app activation (Mobile Token PIN or App PIN), and
- biometric authentication, such as fingerprint or facial recognition.
For security reasons, the myRaiffeisen app cannot be used on jailbroken (iOS) or rooted (Android) mobile devices, as these are more vulnerable to malware, such as data-stealing viruses. Therefore we recommend restoring the device to factory settings. On some devices, the operating system may have been modified by the manufacturer. In such cases, we recommend contacting the relevant service center.
When you first log in after activating the app, you can enable fingerprint or facial recognition (provided your device supports biometric authentication). You can turn this on or off at any time under the Profile icon, in Settings under Biometric authentication.
Once enabled, the app will automatically use biometric authentication. If fingerprint or facial recognition is unsuccessful, the app will ask for your 5-digit Mobile Token PIN.
If you have forgotten your PIN code but can still log in to the app using biometric authentication:
- Tap the Profile icon,
- then on the My user account screen check your Direkt ID, and
- if you do not remember your current password, set a new one.
- Then delete the app.
- Download and install myRaiffeisen app again, and activate it using your Direkt ID and password.
The Mobile Token built into the myRaiffeisen mobile app provides secure identification for using the app. You will have a separate Mobile Token for each mobile device on which you activate the myRaiffeisen app. You can view these in the app under Profile/Settings/Mobile Token settings.
It is important to
- suspend the Mobile Token of any device while you do not have the mobile phone with you, for example, while it is being repaired, and
- delete the Mobile Token of any device that is no longer in your possession.
- Download the myRaiffeisen mobile app only from the official App Store or Google Play stores.
- We recommend regularly updating your mobile device’s operating system and installed apps.
- Use a screen lock on your mobile device and set it to lock automatically after a short period of time, (3–5 minutes).
- Do not use the banking app on Wi-Fi networks of unknown origin.
- Do not write down your PIN code and never share it with anyone. Do not store personal data, such as login IDs or passwords, on your device without encryption.
If your mobile device is lost or stolen, immediately block or suspend its Mobile Token in the internetbank or through our Call Center at +36 80 488 588.

In the myRaiffeisen mobile app, individuals, legal entities and their authorized representatives can access all accounts they are entitled to use as account holders, authorized representatives or signatories, with a single login.
If you have access to multiple accounts, you can see under Profile which access you are currently using the app with. To switch roles, tap the name and select another one from the list that appears.
You can use your 5-digit PIN code or biometric authentication to authorize:
- login to the app or internetbank,
- transactions and orders,
- online card purchases.
You have 5 minutes to sign an order, after that, it will disappear from the list of items awaiting signature.
For approvals, the app sends a push notification. Tap the notification, log in to the app, and you can sign or authorize the item on the approval screen.
If you do not receive a push notification, enable notifications under Profile/Settings/Push notifications.
For users with joint (or dual) signing rights, both signatories must approve:
- orders initiated in the myRaiffeisen mobile app in the app,
- orders initiated in internetbank in the internetbank.
A payment request is a simple and fast way for individuals or businesses with a bank account at a Hungarian financial institution to request money from each other.
The request is a message sent to the recipient’s account number, used to initiate a bank transfer, and it includes the requested amount in forints. The recipient can freely decide whether to accept the request. By approving it, they initiate the requested transfer (which arrives within seconds through the instant payment system).
Important information about payment requests:
- A payment request can be sent by entering the recipient’s account number or secondary identifier (a mobile phone number, email address, tax identification number or tax number).
- The recipient can accept the request immediately or later, reject it, or ignore it.
- The request can be valid for up to 2 months, and it is not possible to set a payment deadline.
- The amount requested may not exceed HUF 20 million.
- The recipient may change the requested amount if the sender allows it. This option is not available for requests sent from the myRaiffeisen app.
- Requests can be viewed and managed in the myRaiffeisen mobile app for 90 days from the date they are received or sent.
- You will receive push notifications about incoming requests and their status (completion, rejection, and notifications before and after expiry) if you have enabled them in the app.
Carbon footprint - Horgonylink
Carbon footprint
Carbon footprint
A carbon footprint (or greenhouse gas footprint) is a quantified indicator. It helps to determine the amount of greenhouse gas emissions, expressed as carbon dioxide, caused by individuals, organizations or countries over a given period. The larger the carbon footprint, the greater its negative impact on climate change.
Not a day goes by without us affecting our environment. With every product we buy or service we use, we generate greenhouse gases, directly contributing to climate change.
For the calculation, we analyze only banking transactions made on Raiffeisen accounts and with Raiffeisen cards, based on the following:
- Your personal carbon footprint value applies to the selected Raiffeisen account only (not to accounts held with other banks) and does not always refer to one person. (For example, in the case of a large grocery purchase paid for with a Raiffeisen bank card, we do not calculate with the number of people living in the household.) The Hungarian average value, however, is calculated per person based on Hungary’s population data.
- Using the global EXIOBASE database, we retrieve the carbon dioxide equivalent index (CO2e), associated with the category of each banking transaction and generated by the relevant industry. This index takes into account greenhouse gases that affect the environment, such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and fluorinated gases.
- The total monthly carbon footprint is calculated at the beginning of the following month. The carbon footprint value is displayed in the mobile app only after all transactions from the previous month have been aggregated, and only if there were sufficient transactions in the relevant categories with a total value of at least HUF 20,000.
- The calculation solution was developed by Finshape and validated by Deloitte.
Carbon footprint data for individual countries, including Hungary, is updated annually and is also publicly available on this website: https://edgar.jrc.ec.europa.eu.
While the domestic carbon dioxide emission value shown in the app is calculated per person (based on Hungary’s total population) your own carbon footprint is calculated based on the transactions appearing on individual Raiffeisen accounts — meaning it does not always represent one person.
- Housing and utilities:
postal services, telecommunications, electricity, gas, heating, water supply, home rental, home insurance, home renovation, furniture, electronics, garden, construction, and other transactions related to housing and utilities - Food and essential expenses:
grocery stores, supermarkets, alcohol, tobacco products, drugstores, pharmacies, clothing, restaurants, fast food, coffee, entertainment venues and bars, home delivery, and other transactions related to food and essential expenses - Entertainment and shopping:
pets, second-hand goods, online shopping, entertainment, music, books, ticket purchases, cinema, online games, social media, online entertainment, sports equipment or clothing, and other transactions related to entertainment and shopping - Travel and transport:
accommodation, petrol stations, car repairs, parking, car rental, daily transport, trains, taxis, buses, bicycles, flights, airports, and other transactions related to travel and transport - Others:
donations, studies, nursery/kindergarten, university studies, school expenses, savings, investments, loans, transfers, cash withdrawals, and other transactions that cannot be assigned to another category
Here are a few examples of how you can reduce your carbon footprint:
- Replacing light bulbs with energy-efficient LED bulbs can reduce our annual carbon dioxide emissions by at least 400 kg per year. The good news is that LED bulbs also last at least five times longer than traditional bulbs.
- If we keep the temperature in our home 3 degrees lower at night or when we are not at home, we can reduce our carbon footprint by 440 kg per year.
- If we walk or cycle instead of driving for shorter distances, we can reduce harmful emissions by up to 75%. For longer distances, public transport and rail travel are good alternatives. For example, travelling from Budapest to Debrecen by petrol-powered car results in approximately 94 kg of carbon dioxide emissions.
- By consuming locally grown or locally produced products, we reduce the harmful emissions caused by transport.
- Take a shopping bag with you when shopping to avoid using unnecessary plastic bags and avoid products with excessive packaging.
- Separating waste for recycling and buying products made from recycled materials also help reduce our carbon footprint.
