Raiffeisen ESG Balanced Fund of Funds exclusively invests in securities whose issuers are classified as sustainable on the basis of environmental, social and governance criteria (ESG). The Fund will not invest in certain sectors such as the arms industry and doesn’t aim to gain on the volatility of food prices. Besides these, companies which violate labour and human rights can’t be the element of the portfolio. The Fund’s investment universe consists of companies which are the world leaders in:

• decreasing environmental load,
• using renewable energy sources,
• decreasing CO2 emission,
• using low level of water and energy,
• recycling and state of the art waste management,
• elimination of discrimination,
• supporting and developing health care and education,
• complying with human and labour laws,
• prohibition of child labour,
• running under transparent, corruption free management

Investment policy

Raiffeisen Sustainable Balanced Fund is a balanced multi asset fund, the portfolio contains fixed income and equity exposure as well. The Fund is a fund of fund structure and invests mainly in the units of the Raiffeisen Sustainable Mix Fund managed by Raiffeisen Kapitalanlage-Gesellschaft m.b.H. (RCM) The underlying fund is the largest investment fund of RCM and invests in sustainable bonds and equities since 2014.
Raiffeisen ESG Balanced Fund of Funds is a result of the cooperation of Hungarian Raiffeisen Investment Management and the Austrian Raiffeisen Kapitalanlage-Gesellschaft m.B.H. In Vienna a dedicated team is responsible for sustainable investments: besides the common risk and return dimensions, they analyse companies by sustainability aspects as well. As a result, investors of the Fund can benefit from domestic and international expertise as well.

Raiffeisen ESG Balanced Fund of Funds is available in three different FX denominations so besides HUF, it is suitable for EUR and USD savings as well.
